Bangladesh tour from Dhaka hotel for 14 days

in the night one of my guide  who have good liaison with Hotel 71 who give / tips to hotel 71 reception staff an amount of US$ 125 Dollar otherwise i have to cancel and then i refused to pay 125 $ to the hotel 71 staff and cancel the booking then finally my guide who now separately guide for the guests paying such money.



14 days all inclusive tour itinerary:
Day01- Friday: at around 08:30 AM i will pick you up for a historical Sonargaon old Capital city ( 13th to 17th Century ) after visiting folk arts and craft Museum, ruins Panam city taking an early lunch then a magnificent cruise on Meghna where you find many island and explore remote ordinary life of farmer / fisherman, we will stop after 3 - 4 hours  cruise at Gopaldi then CNG drive to home stay cottage where you sleep in basic facilities.
Day-02-Saturday: early morning village bazaar and then explore weaving factory which is special and then our A/c car journey to to Srimangal tea plantation areas rest of the day around Madhobpur lake and scenic beauty of hillock side tea garden attracts you, overnight at hotel deluxe room.

Day-3- Sunday: in the morning explore rain forest where you find hoolock gibbons and endanger animal, explore Khasia minorities village inside the forest. We visit also Monipuri tribal village those are experienced in their own weaving, drive to Sylhet for night pass.


Day-04- Monday: early morning drive to visit Jaintapur and cruise on Lalakhal then overnight at Parjatan hotel at Jaflong.

Day-05- Tuesday: in this morning visit Tamabil and Jaflong picturesque scenery of the river and waterfall, stone collection and in the afternoon return drive back to Dhaka for night pass.

Day-06 - Wednesday: full day city tour around Old Dhaka and most attractive Museum and Monuments, in the late afternoon board on old Paddle wheel steamer ( rocket ) 11st class cabin will be booked for night cruise.

Day-07- Thursday: Hularhat to Bagerhat by car then visit World heritage site then overnight at Pashur hotel.
Day 08- : Early morning, immediately the boat will start cruising towards the Sundarbans Forest. On the way, we’ll take armed forest guard and visit Herbaria. In the late afternoon hiking in the Kotka forest area to see wild life and forest, we visit a point at Katka and Overnight at Kotka on the boat.

Day 09: Early in the morning we shall offer trip through small creeks and canals by country boat to see the wildlife and feel the forest from very close. After breakfast Jungle walk, Tiger hill expeditions and beach fun etc will be offered. At around 12:00 hrs start cruising towards Kochikhali wildlife sanctuary, upon arrival Jungle walk and bird watching by wooden boat. Bar – B – Q dinner on boat & overnight on the boat at Kochikhali.


Day-10: Early in the morning we shall offer trip through small creeks and canals by country boat, leave Kochikhali for Mongla, in the evening after having early dinner leave the boat and our car 1 hour journey to Khulna catching overnight train journey to Rajshahi.

Day-11: visit Puthia Temple city and Rajshahi varendra research museum + silk factory, overnight in Rajshahi.
Day12: drive to Gaur at Chapai Nobab ganj to visit the 14th Centuries several ruins Mosque mainly Chotta sona Mosque, Darasbari and Bagha Mosque, overnight at Rajshahi.
Day-13:  drive to Paharpur World heritage site single largest Stupa and nearby attraction, overnight at Bogra.
Day-14: car drive to Mahasthangarh ancient city ( 3rd Century ) and other historical site also important, late in the afternoon by 03:00 PM return car journey to Dhaka for night pass.

Tour itinerary :
Day-01 : our guide met at Dhaka airport and transfer to the hotel ornate for overnight stay.
Day-02 : early in the morning walk up and transfer to the nearby Kamalapur rail station catching morning special A/c train 07 :00 AM that journey to Chittagong, on arrival at 01 :00 PM transfer to a 3 star facilities hotel for having lunch and day outing to Chittagong ship yard to experience the ship breaking activities, overnight at Chittagong hotel.

Day-06 : After breakfast drive to Bandarban on the way visit weaving village, Asham Boshati ( Indian settled minorities ), we must searching any special event or experiencing the difference of the ethnic people, we lately arrived at Bandarban for looking the whole Bandarban and beyond from Tiger hill ( Nilachal)
 and check in Resort (Best Resort in Bandarban).
Day-07 : in the morning Chander gari ( car of moon ) drive to Ruma bazaar ( biggest tribal market ) on the way nearby 11km of Ruma we explore Tripura village those specialized in traditional ornaments making and on arrival Ruma check hotel for having lunch. After having leisure a boat trip will be arranged through shangu river for picturesque hill view scenery and activities of the countryside till sunset, check in hotel.
Day-08 : in the morning visit Bawm indigenous village and then drive to Ruma bazaar which is the center of the hill tracts Ruma district part. we finally entry in check point and 4 wheel jeep hilly drive to Komola bazaar is more remote part and explore Marma village is very interesting, we slowly walk and explore another village those are experienced in weaving by their own, late in the afternoon we climb stepped hill for check in indigenous cottage beyond the hill top Boga lake.
Day-09 : in this morning hike down to walk again exploring Khumi indigenous village nearby Boga lake and this village very interesting by any travelers. After 1.50 hours of walk return to Komola bazar and drive to Ruma bazar for having lunch then proceed for Bandarban on the way we find Shailo propat small waterfalls and nearby Murong village, overnight stay at resort.
Day-10 :
drive to Cox’s Bazar by Hino non ac Bus. In the afternoon check in beach front 3 star hotel and outing for marine drive to Inani beach which is most attractive beach for sunset photo, on our way take a photo from Himchari broken hills, return to Cox’s bazaar in the evening for walking around Barmeese market.
Day-11: After breakfast guided excursion tour to Maheshkhali, an island off the coast of Cox’s Bazar will be arranged. In Maheshkhali you will visit some indigenous Buddhist Rakhain temple and the other Hindu temple named Adinath. Afternoon time return to Cox’s bazaar for lunch and rest of the day free time in the beach. After taking dinner back to Dhaka by Scania Volvo bus overnight journey.
Day-12: on arrival Dhaka check in hotel we book 2 room for refreshment and 2 hours later drive to old Dhaka photo scenic beautiful site will be discove along with Buriganga river front looking the hustle bustle Dhaka,our guide will complete the tour by 05:00 PM for an exciting ferry / Paddle wheel steamer cruise globally known was launch in Bangladesh in the late 18th century by the British India General Navigation Railway Company built with unique design rare chance of sinking dilapidated torpedo-shaped two storey vessels comfortable as symbol of speed, safety and aristocracy once renowned and elite classes people cruises to Mongla and Khulna via Chandpur, Barisal and Hularhat. Day-13:
The ferry/Rocket will reach at 6 am in the morning. Our guide will take you from Ferry and immediately transferred to the Hotel at Barisal. Take rest 1 hours. Then will go out to see the city. Will visit Church, the busy local bazaars, river ports. At 11 am, will take public ferry to Bhola. The ferry will go through small and big rivers and you will enjoy the riverside beauty seating on Ferry roof. After 2.5 hours, reach to Bhola. Walk around that area around biggest snake charmer living on boats and come back same way. Evening, return to Barisal and stay overnight.
Day- 14: Early morning guide will come and pick up you to start backwater and village trip. At first will go to Banaripara and ride small country boat. The boat will start running though tiny canals. You will see the village beauty of both sides of the canals. Will visit some floating markets and get off some small locality to meet the people. Then visit Pottery home, paddy field, battle leaf garden and many more village activities, in the evening check in Barisal hotel.
Day-15
: Early morning (6 am) ferry / paddle steamer will reach at Barisal while you have to board on the 1st class one cabin only we booked and no more room need require as only 3.50 hours cruise to Hularhat where we leave the boat and rural drive to 15th Centuries historical Bagerhat sixty dome Mosque – another World heritage site along with shrine of Khan jahan Ali and Nine dome Mosque, overnight stay in hotel at Bagerhat or Mongla Pashur hotel.
Day-16 :  early in the morning drive to Morrelgonj takes 2 hours from Mongla and 1 hour from Bagerhat by Van catching Paddle steamer 1st class return journey started 09 :30 AM to Dhaka. This long cruise you must introducing many people with bag, materials, hawkers, bazar, many stoppage and rare scenic rustic charms of countryside you will be able to many picture while slow cruise.
Day-17 : at around 06 :00 AM arrived Dhaka Sadarghat while sun rising. We should look the beauty of laden passenger boat while early morning started the hustle in this most crowded place of Bangladesh.
After having breakfast our Van journey about to Birishiri – Durgapur is picturesque rural ideal place for photographers, check in guest house, rest of the day photography in and around
Day-18 : full day around hill view rural villages, bazaar, landscape, boat trip on river, wetlands, attracts you, late in the afternoon return journey to Dhaka for night pass.
Day-19 : Visit Old Capital Sonargaon and a magnificent Meghna river cruise
Depart Dhaka at 06:00 AM in the morning to visit Sonargaon Archaeological site, this was the first capital of Bengal (13th to 17th Century).  We take photo from outside then continue on to nearby 3km a river port  of Meghna River, you find best sun rise photo from here with traditional boats and wholesale fish bazaar then you will board the boat at Bouddhar Bazaar which is 33 km from Dhaka and Explore the remote island villages. You stop on Island Villages, see the real life style of fisherman. Stop at any island in the middle of the river, swim and have more fun and taking photo of a farmer tending cattle, fisherman carrying fish and many more rustic charms with the activities of villagers.
We do not back after 3-4 hours stop the boat at Gopaldi where you find another biggest bazaar in the bank of the river then drive to our expeditions home cottage that facilitate basic accommodation for foreigners since-2001. After having lunch we cycling through rural village to visit a hand loom factory where woman and man special weaving finest cloth of a brand organization with very low salary and enjoy the weekly / daily village bazaar and activities of the villagers, in the evening a significant folk musical program will be arrange in front of the cottage before sleep.
Day-20: Drive to see colorful Batik fabrics factory and sales center, on our way to Jamdhani sharee weaving factories in the bank of sitalakhya river and transfer you to Dhaka for night stay at Hotel.
Day-21 : Airport transfer catching your final departure from Bangladesh ending the trip as well by God grace.

Ecological wildlife Expeditions in Sundarbans Bangladesh by paddle wheel steamer cruise from Dhaka  


The word Sundarban means ‘beautiful forest’. It is a immeasurable area in the Ganges delta comprising a network of 108 swampy, two-third low-lying landmass amidst one- third water bodies of 450 river, canal and creeks, mainly fresh water flows north to south direction and sediments deposited in the delta covered with enormous brackish mud flats contain 28 species true mangrove plants boast of a variety of flora and diversified faunal array to bring an unequaled diverse wildlife

Sundarban Mangrove ecosystems are of massive ecological significance which Situated mostly in southwest Bangladesh, a small portion of it lies in India. The Indian part of the forest is estimated to be about 19 percent, while the Bangladeshi part is 81 percent. Three wildlife Sanctuaries superb by sedges, legumes, algal, grasses a variety of terrestrial shrubs and Magical mangrove trees where stealthily spotted deer, Macaque and wild boar survive and ferocious Bengal tiger its roam beyond various wildlife. Its declared as a UNESCO world heritage site in 1997.

Every year many travelers expedition in and around of these wildlife sanctuaries and mostly viewed sites – namely – KATKA, KACHIKHALI and HERON POINT. 

The Sundarbans incident four tides each day, on a six-hour round and wildlife view in the low tide than high tides.

Flora: overall 334 plants, The major tree species is Sundry which covers about 73% to total landmass and the second species is Gewa which covers about 16% of entire forest area. The plant species include 35 legumes, 29 grasses, 19 sedges, and 18 spurges,165 algal, 13 special orchids, 17 fern, 87 monocotyledon and 230 dicotyledon belonging to 245 genera and 75 families from the sundarbans and adjacent area are found available. 50 true mangrove plant species recorded throughout the globe, the Sundarbans only hold 35 species.


FISH - The Sundarban ecology supports rich fisheries diversity supports 24 species of shrimps, 8 species of lobsters, 7 species of crabs, 42 species of mollusks and 225 species of fish among them 120 species of commercially important fishes are available harvesting by the fisherman.

Avifauna - Birds is the best indication of beauty in nature. in Sundarbans 315 species have been recorded - 8 species king fisher including the common brown-winged kingfishers, Jungle red fowl and  the globally threatened lesser adjutants, masked fin foots birds of prey such as the ospreys, white-bellied sea eagles, grey-headed and Pallas fish eagles.

Aquatic fauna
Some fish and amphibians originate in the Sundarbans are butter fish, electric ray, common carp, king crab, silver carp, barb, river eels, starfish, sawfish, fiddler crab, hermit crab, prawn, shrimps, river dolphins, skipping frogs, common toads and tree frogs. One mostly exciting amphibious fish species is the mudskipper that climbs out of the water into mudflats and even climbs trees.

Predators:
42 species of mammal among them 25 vital mammalian species - significant habitats for the endangered Bengal tiger.The forest also contains leopard --  other smaller predators namely- Asian house shrew, Greater short-nosed fruit bat, Indian flying fox, Greater false vampire bat, tail-less leaf-nosed bat, Rhesus macaque , Red-cheeked squirrel, Greater bandicoot rat, Black rat, Little Indian field mouse, Porcupines, Humpback dolphin, Short-beaked common dolphin, Irrawaddy dolphin, South Asian river dolphin, Bengal fox, Golden jackal, Indian grey mongoose,Fishing cat, Jungle cat, Wild boar, Indian muntjac and monitor lizard.
It is expected that there are now 106 Bengal tigers and about 30,000 to 50,000 spotted deer in the area. Semi aquatic mammal namely The small-clawed otter moves in families often seen during low tides in the creeks.

Reptiles: Sundarbans is also home to 50 reptiles species including Estuarine  crocodiles are large aquatic reptiles is common and others are king cobras, Indian flap-shelled turtles, house geckos, monitor lizards, The river terrapin, hawksbill turtles, pythons, common kraits, green vine snake,  olive ridley turtles, sea snakes, dog-faced water snakes, green turtles, estuarine crocodiles, chameleons, Russell's vipers, checkered keelbacks and rat snakes. peacock soft-shelled turtles, Bengal monitors , water monitors and Indian pythons.

Day-02: Mongla to Katka
In the beginning of the Sundarbans forest protected zone a few hundred fisherman devastating natural breeding system catching fish and young shrimp.
On the way of our cruise we find before 200 meters of forested land and front of Daingmari forest office Known to be a popular course for dolphins and other aquatic animals once we find very rare hambok dolphin species. Dhangmari is not only place where endure dolphin, specialized declare Chandpai and Dudhmukhi areas of eastern Sundarbans as dolphin sanctuaries recorded 6,000 Irrawaddy Dolphin mammal species in Sundarbans Bangladesh.

Very soon our boat arrive at Chandpai Dolphin sanctuary adjacent joy moni fisherman village we stop our boat at forest office jetty to get permitted copy and armed forest guard accompanying the tour.

We direct cruise about to Bay of Bengal view Katka wildlife and Tiger point where mostly viewed diverse wildlife. Our small wooden boat immediately leave us to the nearby wildlife observation tower out looking the eye catching grass land surrounding green trees while birds back to the nest and spotted deer stealthily taking grass before sun set, return to the boat hearing evening alert sounds of Jungle fowl. Day-03: visit another World heritage site-  Bagerhat sixty dome Mosque
at around 09:30 AM leave the rocket for one hour car journey to the Ruins of Bagerhat are the remnants of the famous city of Khalifatabad from the medieval period established by Saint Ulug Khan Jahan. UNESCO declared World heritage sites- his sixty dome mosque although made many beautiful Mosque, we also visit Nine domed Mosque, lakes, the tomb of Khan Jahan Ali. In the afternoon drive another an hour to Pashur hotel. Late in the afternoon experience the coastal villages by auto rickshaw van having fresh air of the Sundarbans.

Day-04: whole day diverse wildlife and magical mangrove forest expeditions
Sundarbans is the unique ecological place for bird watchers, early in the morning alarm wake up for an exciting bird watching trip by silent boat through Katka canal / creeks chance to see the bird life and wildlife very close. Before entering in the canal right side sea faces mud flats where flying birds of prey hunting fishes and crabs. In the canal many species of birds you will find mostly brawn winged king fisher, ruddy king fisher deep of the creeks, racket tailed drongo, magpie robin, common king fisher, fish eagle on the top of die tree, bee eater and many if high tide closely viewed macaque and deer, green vine snake if low tides may find oriental small otters and pug print in the muddy bank, return to the boat having breakfast.

Only one hour time for walking through forest en-route to the Tiger hill we find many deer and macaque under the keora tree and our conducted guide will broken branch of the tree where all of the deer eating with fear.

In the grassland we may find deer, birds and many butterflies as total 37 species of butterflies under 7 families were recorded after 3.50km walk through picturesque scenery we wondered Katka beach where you find only dried trees and verities shell of Mollusks species.
We can happier if we could hiking Katka to Kachikhali through Jamtola beach and deep forest but this expeditions possible from December to March.

After having bath and fruits / cookies eating return to the boat and its start cruise about to Kachikhali meantime late lunch will be served on vessel, on the way of cruise look out may find obscure Bengal tiger swimming in the canal.

Our small boat leave us at jetty Walking through grassland spotted deer in several group stealthily eating grasses and wild boars are common in this forest carefully walk as poisonous snakes found several time in our past trip.
Before sun set a significant bird watching through Kachikhali fascinating canal  A brown-winged kingfisher whizzes by, heading before stopping to perch, enduring us closed view of its spurious wing and attracting red bill. Day-05: bird canal expeditions + Berrikhal canal and Herbaria
early in the morning bird canal expeditions here surrounding mangrove apple and mangrove trees very spectacular by bird watchers as maximum species of bird observe here, water monitor, rhesus macaque also common. Return to the vessel for heading Berrikhal crisscrosses canal where diverse wildlife marked from the boat. Both side green trees and wildlife attracts any travelers, we find masked fin foot, lesser adjutant and greater egrets, several time we found crocodile baking in the sun, water monitor lying in tree, macaque make your return journey memorable.

In the afternoon leave the vessel for Harbaria Eco tourism sight-seeing from wooden made path searching Tiger foot print in the forest floor, continue on to the boat for Mongla catching train / Scania Volvo bus journey to Dhaka.

If visitors use return flight from Jessore to Dhaka just 02:30 pm should be leave the vessel for catching evening flight.
